JEM Installation, LLC (“JEM,” “we,” “us”) provides equipment installation, service, and fleet management for restaurant and convenience-store operators. This policy describes what information we collect through jeminstallation.com and our operational portals, and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Contact form: name, company, email, phone, and the message you send us.
- Technician applications: business contact details, base address, service rates and coverage, and the documents you upload (W-9 and Certificate of Insurance).
- Portal accounts: for installer and customer portal users, your name, email, and activity needed to run the work — job completions, photos, and signatures captured on site.
- Technical basics: standard server logs (IP address, request time) used for security and troubleshooting.
- Analytics: we use Google Analytics to understand site traffic (pages visited, general region, device type). This data is aggregated and is not used for advertising.
How we use it
- To respond to inquiries and quotes, and to evaluate technician applications.
- To dispatch, verify, and invoice work — that's the core of what our platform does.
- To meet tax and insurance compliance obligations (e.g., W-9s and COIs for contractors we pay).
What we don't do
- We do not sell or rent personal information.
- We do not use advertising trackers on this site.
- We do not share your information with third parties except service providers needed to operate (e.g., hosting, accounting) and where required by law.
Storage & security
Data is stored on access-controlled systems in the United States. Sensitive documents (W-9s, COIs) are accessible only to JEM administrators. Portal access is authenticated per account, and customer dashboard access is read-only and scoped to your own organization's data.
Retention
We keep operational and compliance records as long as needed for the business relationship and legal requirements (tax documents typically 7 years). You may request deletion of your contact or application data at any time.
